A bit of Spontaneity!


January 5-7, 2022



First week in the new year we were ready for another outing. Could we do it? (Why not?) Did the schedule work? (yes) Did we have reservations? (No)

Our first campsite was at the Veteran's Memorial Park in Monterey. We had a nice campsite and took a hike. Lots of mushrooms (about 10 varieties) and moss.




Then we moved to Sunset State Beach. Usually getting a reservation here is impossible. On a week day in January there was no problem.
